5 Easy ways to IMPROVE your WEBSITE.

Discover 5 simple ways to enhance your website and captivate your audience. Essential tips for content creators and brands.

5 easy ways to improve your website.

I want to share 5 easy steps to make your website BETTER. Having your site work FOR you and not AGAINST you.

Fly morning! This is a topic I wanted to cover that is extremely important. I’ve recently taken my website to a level where it’s able to sustain as a business. These are some key improvements you can make right now to your product or service site, for overall better results!

WHY should you have a website?

A website is the backbone of your business. It's an first impression for clients, a way for them to contact and hire you. More importantly it's one of the ways to prove you have a solution to someone's problem. If I have a wedding coming up and your website sells flowers, you have a solution to one of my problems. Now if I visit it and see lovely photos of different flowers you offer, you've been in business for “X amount of years’ now you're the person I want to solve that problem. Too many people overlook the importance of having a web page that works. Especially individuals who are just starting out. I don’t want you to be one of these people!

What are some things you may be doing that are HARMING your website? copy.jpg
  • Too much clutter

One thing I notice is that a lot of people clutter their website. More on your site doesn't always lead to it being better. Something to consider is when someone is looking to hire you they "Scan through" your website and not read every single thing. They immediately want to know and be confident that you’re the person for the job, and or that your items are for them. So having a clear, simple, straight forward place for potential clients to land is the best approach to being the person for the job. You don't always have to do the most. One way to make your website better is to make it simple.

  • Unclear message

Not having a clear message on your site won't turn the people browsing into buyers. When it comes to your homepage there is something called a fold. The fold is simply what people see before they have to scroll down your site. Having your message identifiable immediately over the fold is another way to make your website better. It gives potential clients & customers the opportunity to view what you do, what you specialize in, and how you can help them.

5 ways to create an effective website.

Everyone may not agree with this. A lot of boutiques and small business use their phone to capture most of their content. Websites like offerup let people take pics of their products to sell immediately. Which is totally fine.

Being a photographer I’ve learned presentation is everything. I wouldn't go to a interview in my house slippers. Even if I am the the most qualified person for the job. If I'm selling something or want someone to buy into what I do, I want the best photos possible, I want the best videos possible, I want the best stuff as possible on my site. You leave opportunity on the table when you don't take the time to invest in visually appealing content for your website.

You can fix this by adding your best work. Make your site visually appealing and an experience to the viewer.

  • Too confusing to book or hire you.

Leaving your contact information is a good way for people to reach you directly. Another option is setting " Call to action” buttons. This is a button that can be set to a custom message of your choosing and redirected to a contact form. Once I have a potential client here I can gather further information. For example " Why are you interested in working together ? ". So before we get on a call or email I have some initial information to digest.

Clear simple communication is key. People want what they want, and they want it as simple and fast as possible. If you get into the mind and perspective of the person that is looking to hire you, you’ll be more successful at being the person for the job.

  • Doesn't seem trustworthy

One way to reel more people in is by having people you already worked with leave reviews and testimonials. This is a great way to put people at ease who are inquiring your services or products. Especially as a newly creative.

In conclusion

You want your website to function like a well oiled machine. Incorporating the right pieces for it to ultimately become fruitful to your business. These quick and easy steps are very effective, helping to furthermore grow your company, brand and business. Hope this was helpful!

4 WAYS to get COMFORTABLE in front of the camera.

Are you Camera shy? Need help on how to take BETTER photos? Learn some quick tips to immediately help you pose confidently and look good in every photo.

Are you Camera Shy?

Learn some quick tips to immediately help you pose confidently and look good in every photo.

Today I want to help you overcome the fear of being in front of the camera, resulting in better pictures. Throughout my career as a photographer i’ve noticed how these small adjustments can have a great impact on the final image. Many people are great at taking selfies, but become shy when it comes to being in front of the camera. Today I'm going to help you overcome that and become your best self in front of the camera!

1. Using Confidence Boosters

Doing things to help build your confidence. These are small changes that will subconsciously make you feel better about yourself.

For Example

  • Practicing in the mirror all week before your shoot.

  • Wearing your favorite color

  • Listening to your favorite song

  • Complimenting yourself out loud.

  • Looking for comparsion photos to help you.

Doing things to build yourself up because it really shows on the camera.

2. Don't Overthink Things

The reason people take great selfies but shy away from actually being in front of the camera is because of this self intimidation we build up. It's only a camera, It cannot hurt you or judge you. It's just a box with a hole in it.

All the extra photography equipment that we tend to be intimated by is literally there to help us look better.

Change your perspective about the camera, The camera is your friend.

3. Angles Always Help

Giving yourself some shape and definition will always help in your photos. Do you have a side of your face that you favor more than the other? Do you naturally feel comfortable posing from one side of your body than the other? Follow what feels organic, but if you don't know which angles to go to leads to my next tip

Small angle adjustments can make so much of a difference in your photo.

This angle is flat and does not help to highlight our subjects features.

Angles always help to give depth to your image. This small adjustment helps to make our image flattering.

4. Don’t be Afraid to ask for Pointers

It’s ok to ask for help. If you don't know what to do don't be afraid to ask. The photographer has a trained eye for what is going to look flattering in the final image. Also bringing support systems to photo shoots can help boost your confidence. Your friend or family member may see something that looks great that you may not necessarily notice. Don't be afraid to ask her help. put your friends to work. Ask your photographer for help. Thats why we are here.

In Conclusion

Consider everything I mentioned, give it a chance and you'll be way more comfortable in front of the camera. In which leads to better photos.

Farmacy For Life Review: Must-Have Essentials for Your Medicine Cabinet

Discover Farmacy For Life, the pioneering natural health food store by David Styles (Styles P) and his wife Adjua, serving under served communities.

Farmacy for life. farmacyforlife.com

You ever wonder what’s really in your medicine cabinet ?

Good morning! In today’s post I want to talk about some things iv’e incorporated into my diet. With everything currently going on I felt like it was important to share some herbs with you guys. Which is Black seed oil and Sea moss.

In a nutshell black seed oil is like nature's flu shot. It’s great for the immune system and has a bunch of health benefits. It fights mucus which is the lead cause of most diseases, also the prime reason I wanted to incorporate it into my diet. Also sea moss which is known to have 92 of 102 minerals that the body needs. But I suggest doing your own research on these to see if they’re right for you.

Personally, I feel we’re responsible for my own health and well being. If there is a natural way or solution, I would rather explore that instead of being dependent on medication.

What is Farmacy For Life?

Farmacy For Life is hip hop first natural health food store by David Styles ( Styles P ) of the elite group called “The Lox” and his wife Adjua. Catered to the under served communities in the world, They have healing herbs and oils and ship worldwide.

Initially I decided to go with this company because I feel like I can identify with them. Me, my brother, and my friends grew up on his music, and to see him take the initiative into health and well being is inspiring. For the record this is not a sponsored post or video, this is just my personal opinion for using their products since January 2019.

So first Black Seed Oil

I take a tablespoon in the morning. Honestly, it does not taste good lol. If you can stomach the taste I say go for it, otherwise you can chase it with water or some thing else. You can also add it to smoothies. I just stomach the taste and take it in its pure form for optimal benefits. I never tried any other company's black seed oil so this is not a comparison post, but the potency, consistency, are top notch.

Secondly Sea moss

Sea moss originally is a algae. You can get it in its raw form or sea moss gel from other sources. Farmacy for Life sell sea moss in the capsule form. I’m usually always on the go so this is the desired form for me to take it. It's easier to travel with. I take two of these daily every morning. I like to start the day right, but whatever time you would like take your vitamins would probably be the best time to take them. Honestly it taste like the ocean lol, it has like a ocean aftertaste.

farmacy for life sea moss.

How do I feel about them?

To conclude this quick review I love them both products . They get my day started in the right direction and I have more energy. It's hard to explain but overall I just feel better and healthier. The only downside I can potentially see is the shipping. Shipping is like 7 to 10 days. Otherwise great customer service. They response to most comments and inquiries on Instagram, I like when companies take the time to consider their customer questions and concerns. I dont wanna unnecessarily carry on about this product but I recommend them. Check out there instagram for yourself, And once again do your own research on these products and see if they're for you.

The advantages of being a morning person

What are some of the advantages of being a morning person?

advantage of being a morning person thumbnail.jpg

What are the benefits of waking up earlier?

We all love to sleep, but the pros of starting your day earlier can definitely out weight the cons.

I always been a morning person. Even when I was younger. For me there is just something exciting about getting a head start on the day. A lot of the successful get a jumpstart by waking up earlier. I think it's good to adopt some habits of the successful and incorporate it into your routine.

As long as I’ve been a morning person, these are some of the advantages I've witnessed first hand.

  1. Setting the tone of your Day

Seamoss is known to carry 92 out of 102 minerals that the body needs, with plenty of other health benefits as well. Black seed oil is also great for the immune system and your overall health and well being. Both are a great way to kick off your morn…

Seamoss is known to carry 92 out of 102 minerals that the body needs, with plenty of other health benefits as well. Black seed oil is also great for the immune system and your overall health and well being. Both are a great way to kick off your morning in the right direction!

Movies have a beginning, middle and end. Same for stories they have a beginning middle and end. Albums, music usually has a introduction. Something to set forth the tone and tempo for everything else. And mornings are no different.

Think about when you wake up groggy or cranky? The rest of your day usually feeds off of that same vibe right? Waking up earlier and taking control of your day, owning your day as I like to stay, I believe is one of the ways to having a better day overall.

2. The World Around you is Standing Still

Just think about your day and everything in it. How busy it might be, how much it consumes you. How many people might require your attention, the responsibilities. Just every single thing in your day.

I like waking up early because the norm tells us we should still “be sleep” The rest of the world is silent. This may be the quiet time you need to be creative, productive and focus on things you usually didn't have time for during your normal hour.

And lastly..

3. It Helps Maximize your Time

I feel like one of the main advantages of being a morning person is maximizing your day. If time is money why wouldn't you want to maximize your time? But not even about money, When you wake up earlier and be productive earlier you just feel accomplished. And you’ll have more time in your day to focus on whatever it is you want to focus on.

If you’re looking for suggestions to help you become a morning person, here are a few tips…

  1. Have Something to Look Forward too

I always prefer morning workouts. Less people, less distractions and more time to knock out your routine. Just some advice, set aside some time in the day for a nap. Waking up earlier and exercising early you’ll need to recover. Between 12 - 2pm i’ll usually wine down and try to get a nap in.

Wake up earlier and set something up for yourself to do. If you don’t have anything planned, you'll be more likely to sleep in later. People eat out of boredom, sleep out of boredom, and procrastinate simply because they don’t have the day prepared. Avoid this growing snowball & simply start by having a plan. Plan that workout, that workout class. It can even be simple as waking up earlier just to to iron your clothes or making a decent breakfast.

As long as you have something to wake up for, you'll have motive to get out of bed.

2. Plan the night before

I just started setting these daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals in my notes. Planning helps having something to look forward too. By planning the night or day prior, it just makes you want to get it done the next day. It's like tricking yourself in a good way.

3. Start small

Start in increments. Try waking up at 7:30 for a week, the next week try 7, the following week try 6:30. Take it on in smaller pieces and you'll be more likely to get it done. Until it becomes second nature to wake up at your desired time just challenge yourself each week to wake up a little earlier.

I’m not a coffee drinker, but I love making tea. Usually in the morning and before bed. My favorite is this cinnamon apple spice flavor. Boil it with fresh ginger then add fresh lime juice and honey. Great way to relax and mellow your day.
